Denali from the Parks Bracelet Inspiration: Denali is the tallest mountain in North America, and she can be seen for hundreds of miles. With a height of 20,310 feet you can’t miss her. Many of us in Southcentral Alaska love to hit The Parks Highway to watch her grow larger and larger with the passing miles. There are many pull-offs along the way where you can pull over and grab a great photo.  

Of course, there’s a saying that only 30% of visitors to Denali actually get to see her.  Why’s that?  She’s so tall that she makes her own weather, so she’s often socked in with clouds. If you’re lucky, you can see her across the miles of trees as you’re heading north.  The closer you get, the more towering she becomes.

That’s what inspired this bracelet.  Driving, looking, seeing her, she’s gone again, keep looking, there she is!  It’s a beautiful drive full of anticipation.

Our Interpretation: There are many shades of green in Alaska in the summer, so we used Moss Agate nugget gemstones to represent the millions of trees between you and the mountain.  White Howlite represents Denali.  The gray veining in the Howlite represents the glaciers that are carved into her.  The silver spacers represent the ice that caps Denali.
